Spring Internship - Business Development

Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Business Development Intern. The intern will assist on the business development side of ongoing pilot partnerships and will work with existing industry partners on cost modeling. Additional responsibilities include building client relationships, financial and pricing modeling, and participating in strategic business discussions.
Qualifications
- Due to funding requirements, only applicants located in Massachusetts are eligible
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, pricing analysis, or techno-economic evaluation (coursework or prior internships acceptable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in business development
- in building/construction sector is an asset, but not required
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets) and comfort working with quantitative datasets; familiarity with basic market research methods is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently in a remote environment, and contribute to strategic discussions
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in coordinating with industry partners and internal team members
This is a part-time remote role for a Business Development Intern, with the potential to transition into a full-time position pending successful partner engagement and project outcomes. The intern will assist on the business development side of ongoing pilot partnerships and collaborate with industry partners on cost modeling. Additional responsibilities include building client relationships, conducting financial and pricing analyses, and participating in strategic business discussions. The anticipated start date is January 2026, with the internship concluding in May 2026, with an expectation of 10 hours per week.
